ASSISTANT MANAGER, FINANCE

Duties & ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements accurately.
- Deliver variance analysis against budgets to highlight performance gaps.
- Provide data-driven insights to senior executives for business optimization.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual corporate budgeting across all organizational departments.
- Develop rolling cash flow forecasts to guarantee operational liquidity.
Governance, Tax & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with MFRS.
- Prepare and compute provisional corporate tax
- Coordinate compliance filings and audit processes.
- Establish rigorous internal controls to mitigate operational financial risks.
Operations & Treasury Management
- Oversee daily treasury activities including working capital and fund management.
Job RequirementsQualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor™s degree in finance or accounting, or professional qualification, ACCA, CIMA, etc.
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Knowledge of AI tools (e.g., Claude AI, ChatGPT, or similar AI-powered productivity tools) for financial analysis, reporting, and process automation is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis, reporting automation, or financial process improvement is an added advantage.
