The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role for a professional who enjoys the balance of Strategic Project Delivery and Hands-on execution. You will lead local infrastructure initiatives and act as the senior escalation point for complex technical challenges.
Key Accountabilities
- Transformation Project Lead: Plan and execute a pipeline of exciting infrastructure enhancement projects aligned with our business modernization and growth strategy.
- Infrastructure Architecture & Operations: Lead the hands-on management and optimization of local infrastructure (VMware, Windows Server, O365) to ensure 100% availability.
- Advanced Technical Support: Serve as the Level 2 and 3 escalation point for complex end-user and system issues, providing expert troubleshooting for the business.
- Regional Collaboration: Act as the primary local interface for Group IT (Singapore), ensuring the seamless rollout of regional digital policies and cybersecurity standards.
- Vendor Governance: Direct and hold external Systems Integrators (SI) and vendors accountable for high-standard project delivery and hardware lifecycle management.
- Process Modernization: Evaluate and automate existing IT administrative workflows to enhance operational velocity.
Requirements
- Experience:4–8 years of hands-on relevant experience in IT Infrastructure.
- Technical Depth: Expert-level diagnostic skills in VMware, Windows Server, and Network Security.
- Mindset: A proactive, critical-thinker who is comfortable being hands-on while also managing high-level vendor and regional stakeholders.
- Communication: Professional proficiency in English for effective regional coordination.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
