Under the DHL Supply Chain umbrella, one of the business units of DHL, we provide customized logistics and industry solutions in the areas of supply chain management, warehousing, distribution, value added services, and lead logistics provider services for our customers - helping them deliver better results everyday.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible on implement, configuration of integrations between WMS and TMS, and between customer's and DHL system.
  • Responsible for data extractions for Power BI usage.
  • Responsible for any other data analytics requirement initiated locally or within APAC, by utilizing DHL standard tools or platform.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure service requests and incidents are resolved within SLAs.
  • Perform study and impl ementation of new IT solutions to the business in a timely and quality manner.
  • Provide guidance on other team member on newly implemented solution.
  • Manage projects as assigned from time to time.
  • Participate in the testing, training, implementation and post-implementation support for the projects.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues encounter by users.
  • Work with IT vendors for application maintenance and technical services.
  • Ad hoc duties assigned by Senior Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Studies, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Integrations and digitalization project.
  • Experience in common B2B and B2C integration technologies (i.e. protocols and message standards, requirements and data mapping, API, visibility tools etc.).
  • Experience in Crystal Report, Jasper Report, SSRS or any other reporting services.
  • Excellent in SQL command, data analysis and database design.
  • Knowledge of VBA, PL/SQL and Experience in Business intelligent tool. E.g. Power BI will be added advantage.
  • Good understanding of Warehouse Management System (WMS) / Transport Management System (TMS) / any ERP Systems.
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills and communications skills.
  • Effective communication skills / interpersonal understanding.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).

DHL is a German logistics company providing courier, package delivery and express mail service, which is a division of the German logistics firm Deutsche Post. The company group delivers over 1.6 billion parcels per year. DHL Express is market leader for parcel services in Europe and Germany's main Courier and Parcel Service.
The company DHL itself was founded in San Francisco, United States, in 1969 and expanded its service throughout the world by the late 1970s. In 1979, under the name of DHL Air Cargo, the company entered the Hawaiian islands with an inter-island cargo service using two DC-3 and four DC-6 aircraft. Adrian Dalsey and Larry Hillblom personally oversaw the daily operations until its eventual bankruptcy closed the doors in 1983. At its peak, DHL Air Cargo employed just over 100 workers, management and pilots.
