Role Purpose:

As the Learning & Development (L&D) Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that address Setel's learning and development needs. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing the skills, knowledge, and overall performance of employees, ultimately contributing to the achievement of Setel's goals and objectives.

In This Role You Will:

Training Need Analysis (TNA)
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills within the organization.
  • Collaborate with Head of Departments (HODs) and managers to determine training priorities for each department.
  • Develop customized training programs and materials that align with Setel objectives
  • Utilize various instructional methods, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training, to meet diverse learning needs.

Training Delivery, Assessments & Evaluation
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels
  • Ensure that training sessions are well-organized, engaging, and effective.
  • Develop assessment tools and metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging learning and development practices

Compliance and Reporting
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making data-driven recommendations for employees career development.
  • Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

Other Assignments
  • To assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.

You're A Great Fit If You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (8 years) in TNA, instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to assess training program effectiveness.
  • Certifications in training and development (e.g., Train The Trainer certification by HRDC).
