Job Purpose
To assist, lead and manage the treasury functions and daily operation processes, ensuring effective cash flow management, funding, and banking administration. Responsible for overseeing cash flow planning, funding matters, banking facilities and advances administration, and bank reconciliations in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Job Accountabilities
Funding & Debt Management
- Assist in structure, execute, and administer the Group's debt instruments including sukuk programmes, revolving credit facilities and project financing.
- Assist in develop funding strategies to meet the Group's project financing needs, optimising cost of funds and debt maturity management.
- Manage all loan drawdowns, repayments, and interest payments, ensuring timely execution and accurate recording in line with facility agreements.
- Maintain loan records and manage documentation for borrowing facilities, including loan agreements, securities, and all related legal instruments.
- Monitor and ensure full compliance with all borrowing covenants, manage timely submission of all reports and updates required by lender.
- Manage banking relationships and execute documentation for new facilities, coordinating with banks, legal counsel, arrangers etc.
- Monitor blended borrowing cost, debt maturity profile, and facility utilisation, identifying opportunities to optimise the funding mix.
Treasury Reporting & Credit Rating Management
- Assist in preparation of reporting to the management and the Board, covering debt position, borrowing cost, maturity profile, and facility utilisation etc.
- Manage the Group's credit rating review process, including preparation of rating submissions, response to rating agency queries, and coordination of rating committee presentations.
- Monitor rating agency practices and industry benchmarks and provide recommendations to maintain or improve the Group's credit rating.
- Maintain a treasury tracking key financial metrics including gearing ratio, interest coverage, weighted average cost of debt, and debt-to-equity ratio.
Interco Lending
- Administer intercompany loans within the Group and maintain complete documentation and record.
- Monitor all intercompany loan balances, interest accruals, and repayment record across subsidiaries, ensuring timely settlement in accordance with the cut-off.
- Ensure intercompany arrangements are priced on an arm's length basis and comply with transfer pricing requirements and internal treasury policies including stamping the agreement/letter.
- Coordinate with Finance and Tax teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and tax implications of intercompany advances are addressed.
Qualifications & Technical Competences
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent with accounting knowledge or any equivalent discipline
- Total Work Experience: 5-7 years
- Total Relevant Experience: 5 years experience in Treasury Finance function in a property development company or equivalent
- Strong knowledge in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and funding strategies.
- Experience dealing with banking facilities and financial institutions.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
