A Chemical MNC is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Assistant Sales Manager to drive growth across Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding key accounts, and strengthening relationships with customers, distributors, and industry partners within the speciality chemicals market.

Your new role

• Develop and execute regional business development strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Identify and penetrate new markets, customers, and application segments across Southeast Asia.
• Build and manage relationships with key accounts, distributors, manufacturers, and strategic partners.
• Work closely with technical, marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biotechnology, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of sales or business development experience within speciality chemicals, food ingredients, personal care chemicals, or related industries.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel frequently across Southeast Asia.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional language capabilities are advantageous
