What will you be doing

Promotional Activation

  1. Align international trade marketing plans with overall business and marketing objective.
  2. Plan and execute in-store promotion, display, and other marketing activity to boost product visibility and sales in different region within international market.
  3. Coordinate with retailer and distributor to ensure effective implementation of promotion.
  4. POSM management inclusive of marketing related collateral, premium and POSM to support sales activities, ensuring compliance to brand guide.
  5. Customize promotional material and campaigns to suit regional taste and preference.

Trade Event planning & Management

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive plan for trade exhibition, including timeline, budget, and objective.
  2. Compile sales lead report and prepare detailed post-event report with circulation to PIC with insight and recommendation for future event.

Product Information Management

  1. Update and maintain accurate product information, including specification, dimension, container configuration, shelf life.
  2. Create, update and manage product catalogue for both print and digital format.
  3. Update of Home brand product info; inclusive of nutrition info & Ingredient list and product label, health Certificate, COA (country of Origin) and any other relevant documentation for export purpose.

Compliance and Documentation

  1. Ensure product compliance with international trade regulations and standards.
  2. Stay updated on changes in export regulations and ensure the company's compliance. Established network and working relationship with relevant authorities (e.g. MATRADE MITI, MATRADE, JAKIM, HDC, GIEHA, etc)

Training and Development

  1. Identify training needs and develop training programs on product knowledge USP and merchandising technique for the customer, distributor, wholesaler, retailer, promoter
  2. Ensure that sales team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform effectively in export market.

What you bring

Academic Qualification: A bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, marketing, or a related field.

Experience:-

  • 7 - 10 years of experience in trade marketing and sales operations for export sales and international trade.
  • Experience in managing sales processes and teams in an export market context.
  • Incumbent experience of managing trade marketing activities and campaigns.

Technical Proficiency:-

  • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis software.
  • Proficient in advanced features of Excel for data analysis and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI).

Knowledge of International Trade Regulations: Understanding of international trade regulation, customs procedure, and compliance requirement.

Communication Skill:-

  • Strong written and verbal communication skill.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team.
