About the role
You will play a pivotal role in driving the company's marketing strategies and initiatives for pharmacy channels. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing targeted trade marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness, strengthen trade partnerships, and increase product sales distribution.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement trade marketing plans and campaigns to support the brand's growth objectives
- Manage and coordinate trade marketing activities, including in-store promotions, trade shows, and sales incentive programs
- Foster strong relationships with key trade partners, such as retailers and distributors, to secure optimal product placements and visibility
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and inform trade marketing strategies
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure trade marketing initiatives are aligned with the overall brand and marketing plans
- Monitor and report on the performance of trade marketing activities, making data-driven recommendations for optimisation
- Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their trade marketing capabilities
What we're looking for
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a trade marketing or similar role within the consumer goods or FMCG industry
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing campaigns that drive sales and brand growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with trade partners and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights
- Familiarity with retail merchandising, in-store promotions, and trade incentive programs
- Proficient in project management, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
