We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate Director, Fund Services. Reporting to the Head of Fund Services, this full-time and permanent position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Fund Services and its growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Fund Services team in KL office, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities
  • Proactively flag potential SLA challenges to the Director of Fund Services and key stakeholders, facilitating timely resolution.
  • Develop and implement service delivery strategies to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, service delivery, meeting client needs and business objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Oversee the delivery of fund administration services from GSC perspective
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the process efficiency and meeting client's expectations
  • Manage staff resources, and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Responsible for the management of day-to-day operations of the process and ensure adherence to processes, systems and schedules to drive service excellence, quality, productivity and maximize revenue generating opportunities
  • Function as the contact point for escalated customer complaints and handle such cases effectively and professionally, exhibiting proactivity and responsiveness to customer issues.
  • Manage staff concerns, including leave, health issues, and overall job satisfaction, ensuring a motivated and engaged workforce.
  • Handle administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Understand the requirement of the country requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and SLA, regularly reviewing and updating them for relevance and consistent application and compliance.
  • Enhance operational efficiency by driving process automation, continuous improvement, and strengthening controls.
  • Monitor operational performance, identify trends, and implement best practices for improvement.
  • Conduct detailed planning to align operational capacity with business demand.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), striving to meet or exceed expectations.

Key Requirements:

  • Possess at least 10 to 15 years of accounting experiences. Experience in Fund Accounting either with another Fund Administrator or Fund Manager will be an advantage.
  • Proven leadership experience managing global or regional teams.
  • Possess audit experiences
  • Degree in accountancy (CPA/ACCA) or finance or equivalent
  • Able to manage full set of accounts and possess good understanding of IFRS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate to clients, senior management, direct reports and across other business units and support functions.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
