Job Description

Purpose of Job

We are seeking talent to manage the day-to-day servicing of various industry business accounts, including renewals; develop strong client relationships; and review coverage terms, conditions, and pricing for new and renewal accounts in the small business lines segment.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Client Management:

  • Manage and service the newly acquired and renewed accounts.
  • Conduct client presentations as required to ensure the clients are updated and address their enquiries.
  • Handle claims for the accounts, follow up on the claim status and update the client.
  • Collate and communicate client requirements to ensure the appropriate proposal of risk management.
  • Plan for effective and appropriate solutions to fulfil client's demands and needs.
  • Review client documentation to ensure that the information presented is sufficiently comprehensive/accurate to support the quoting process.
  • Maintain and resolve both offline and online inquiries for the Company's insurance platform for handling all customer queries and concerns, including Motor, Houseowner and Householder, Travel, and other upcoming products to be launched.
  • Manage and service new and renewal clients under the company's digital platform and related matters
  • Provide relevant reports and management information to the Head of Department.
  • Manage assigned projects and contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Supervise and lead the business line to ensure the achievement of individual and team objectives.
  • Guide and monitor team members to support their knowledge and skill development.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Company and/or Group policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and deal with correspondence appropriately

Representing the Company

  • Any other reasonable duties, as required

Knowledge and Experience and Skill

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 1-2 years working experience in similar field.
  • Possess relevant knowledge of the principles of Insurance will be preferable
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and written in English. Preferably also able to communicate in both spoken and written Mandarin.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point)
  • Interpersonal skills and client relationship capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
