We are seeking highly motivated candidates who are keen to join the TRS family.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of our team, you will get opportunities to be involved in a diverse range of local and overseas advisory work such as data protection, cybersecurity, and corporate investigations. Training will be provided to equip team members with the necessary expertise.
- Provide Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Advisory Services in data protection and risk management
- Perform internal audits and compliance reviews to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes and regulatory compliance
- Carry out business process reviews, with focus on data protection and privacy laws and regulation requirements across various jurisdictions
- Identify gaps and compliance risks in internal processes, and provide practical recommendations for improvements and remediation actions
- Execute project work plans, including interviewing clients, fieldwork, documentation and reporting
- Assisting client in developing and implementing tailored policies, procedures and other relevant documentation
- Prepare clear, concise reports highlighting findings and actionable recommendations
- Manage client relationships throughout the project, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of project deliverables
- Plan and participate in team activities
Desired Skill Sets:
- At least a Diploma or Degree in Law, Risk Management, Business Management, Economics, Information Technology, or related technical fields
- Priority will be given to candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience in data protection, compliance, risk advisory, internal audit and/or investigations
- Strong command of written and spoken English, with the ability to draft clear, professional reports, policies, and client communications
- Possess strong integrity, values and work ethics
- Possess strong interpersonal and business communication skills to engage clients and stakeholders effectively
- Analytical, detail-oriented, organised and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Able to travel overseas for assignments occasionally
- A strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Priority would be given to candidates with experience in data protection and/or relevant certifications (e.g., internal audit, compliance, or data protection certifications)
