Job Summary

To support the delivery of flagship sustainability and climate-related initiatives, including special projects and platforms such as CFIL, by coordinating project execution, stakeholder engagement and reporting to advance BPMB Group's sustainability and transition objectives.

Job Description

  • Support financial planning and budgeting for sustainability special projects and flagship initiatives.
  • Track project expenditure against approved budgets and timelines to ensure financial discipline.
  • Prepare and submit claims, invoices and supporting documents for project-related expenses in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Assist in coordinating funding utilisation, cost reporting and documentation for sustainability programmes.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping to support audit, governance and management reporting requirements.
  • Support engagement and coordination with project participants, partners and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Assist in onboarding and coordination of stakeholders involved in sustainability programmes and initiatives.
  • Respond to stakeholder queries related to programme implementation and participation.
  • Support delivery of stakeholder engagements, workshops and programme activities.
  • Contribute to maintaining positive working relationships with partners and programme participants.
  • Coordinate planning, implementation and monitoring of sustainability special projects and initiatives.
  • Support follow-ups on agreed action items, decisions and deliverables arising from meetings, workshops and engagements.
  • Provide secretariat support for project-related meetings, including preparation of agendas, materials, minutes of meetings and action trackers.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external stakeholders, partners, service providers and internal stakeholders to support project implementation and timelines.
  • Support preparation of project plans, timelines, progress updates and management reports.
  • Assist in development of concept notes, proposals and supporting documentation for sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing and record-keeping in line with governance and audit requirements.
  • Undertake additional tasks, projects or responsibilities as assigned by Management or supervisors from time to time to support departmental and organisational priorities, in compliance with applicable policies, procedures and legal requirements.
  • Build knowledge and exposure in sustainability programmes, climate initiatives and development finance.
  • Develop project management, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Participate in training, learning sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Capture lessons learned and best practices from project implementation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sustainability programme delivery.
  • Support tactical or strategic initiatives as directed by Management or supervisors, including responsibilities not explicitly outlined above, subject to applicable governance and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, and/or relevant exposure gained through academic studies or structured programmes.
  • This may include:
  • Internships, industrial training, attachments or traineeships
  • Project coordination or programme support roles
  • Research, capstone projects or final-year theses related to sustainability, ESG, development or climate-related fields
  • Participation in structured programmes, fellowships or student-led initiatives involving multi-stakeholder engagement
  • Fresh graduates may be considered if they demonstrate strong applied exposure, coordination skills and foundational understanding of sustainability or related areas.
  • Strong coordination and project management skills.
  • Good understanding of sustainability, climate and development finance concepts.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and documentation skills.
