We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate – Tax Compliance & Advisory based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers great coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our business and its growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tax engagements and ensure all internal and client deadlines are met
  • Follow up with clients on tax organisers, required information, and documents
  • Prepare draft tax computations, returns, and supporting schedules
  • Liaise with clients and the engagement team to resolve queries and issues
  • Address and clear review points raised by seniors, managers, or directors
  • Ensure final tax computations and returns are accurate, complete, and properly documented
  • Follow up on post-filing matters, including signed Form e-C and utilisation or refund of tax credits
  • Monitor CP204/CP204A deadlines and issue reminders or submission letters to clients
  • Support advisory work, including proposal drafting, research, and transfer pricing assignments
  • Handle administrative tasks such as client trackers, tax file setup, invoicing, document filing, and dispatch

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CIA) or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in taxation, will be an added advantage.
  • Have a good understanding and knowledge of Malaysian Tax.

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge on MS Office and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Has attention to details.
  • Good time management and is a deadline drive person
