Automation Engineer

Role: Automation Engineer

Location: Malaysia, KL

We are looking for Automation profiles having strong experience in Selenium, API with Java Cucumber framework, having solid hands-on experience on coding, resources are expected to work on automation framework development and building core utilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.

Develop and execute API test automation scripts and validate integrations across systems.

Build and enhance core automation utilities to increase test coverage and efficiency.

Collaborate with developers, QA, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.

Participate in code reviews, provide best practices for test automation, and ensure high-quality coding standards.

Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous testing.

Debug, analyze, and resolve automation issues in complex systems.

Document automation solutions and provide knowledge transfer within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Cucumber BDD framework.

Solid experience in API testing and automation (REST/SOAP).

Proven expertise in automation framework design and development.

Strong coding and debugging skills in Java (must).

Experience with build tools like Maven/Gradle and version control systems like Git.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-orientedmindset.
