Automation Test Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with a focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to analyze requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify, record, and track bugs and issues in a test management tool.
• Perform regression testing and ensure the functionality of the applications after changes.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts for improved efficiency.
• Generate test reports and provide feedback on test results to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-9 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test script development.
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of web services testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
