Automation Tester

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with strong hands‑on skills in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for banking applications. You will work closely with developers, business teams, and QA leads to ensure high‑quality delivery across critical banking projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems
• Perform regression, functional, and integration testing using automation tools
• Identify, analyze, and document defects; work with developers to resolve issues
• Collaborate with QA and project teams to understand requirements and test scenarios
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to quality standards
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities
• Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing, with strong automation exposure
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium, Java/Python, or similar automation tools
• Experience in API automation (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
• Strong understanding of banking workflows, systems, and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
• Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Exposure to automation frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, or Robot Framework
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation
