BBN S/W QA - Optical Module Validation Testing

• Position: BBN S/W QA - Optical Module Validation Testing
• Location: Malaysia
• Duration: 12 months, extendable

Caliberated Skillsets:

xPON and PtP optical technologies including GPON, XGS-PON, 25G PON, 50G PON, 40G / 100G / 400G point-to-point (PtP) optics

Required Skills

1. Familiar with key parameters of high-speed optical modules;

2. Familiar with related standards (MSA / IEEE / ITU-T) for xPON and PtP optical modules;

3. Familiar with optical/electrical test instruments;

4. Background with qualification standards such as EMC and safety;

5. Experience using DCA (Digital Communication Analyzer), BERT, and related equipment; strong eye-diagram measurement and analysis skills;

6. Computer skills: proficient in MS Office; capable of using related design/analysis software;

7. ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) design and Python programming skills are a plus.
