Business Analyst (BA) Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor years of experience: 4 to 8 years
Job Description: As a Business Analyst, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating high-level business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. You will be responsible for a data-driven approach to improving business processes and driving key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and process flowcharts. Conduct gap analysis on existing processes to identify areas for improvement. Develop comprehensive business dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau to track KPIs. Utilize SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and sales, to ensure solutions meet business goals. Present data findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence. Proficiency in data management and visualization tools like SQL, Power BI, and Excel. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must. Experience in the IT or technology sector is a plus.
