Job Purpose
Responsible for leading business analysis activities for custom-developed applications and digital solutions across the organisation.
This role ensures accurate translation of business and operational requirements into clear functional specifications that enable secure, scalable and high-quality system delivery.
The Senior Analyst acts as a key interface between business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and production-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements, including identification of key pain points
- Perform gap analysis, process modelling, and support business case development
- Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels, as defined by each project, to drive continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Analyse and propose improvements to enhance the quality of digital and technology products and services
- Leverage prior experience in data-related tasks to support analysis and decision-making
- Develop user stories, user journey flows, and wireframes to support solution design
- Support initiatives to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and usability
- Apply working knowledge of Power BI to support reporting and analytics requirements
- Assist with system integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support the development of training materials and user manuals
- Provide project management support, including coordination, tracking, and documentation
- Experience supporting or delivering retail-focused solutions, payment processing platforms, or other transaction‑based applications is an added advantage
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role (experience in a consulting environment preferred).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and familiarity with product backlog management and Agile frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- High level of attention to detail, ensuring that all visual and written content is accurate and meets company standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different functions.
- Good knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI.
