Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business requirements.

Translate business processes and user requirements into clear functional specifications and feature definitions to enhance system functionality.

Analyse source and target system data models, data dictionaries, and data mapping documents to support business and technical insights.

Work closely with the data migration team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data.

Assist in defining and validating data quality rules, reconciliation reports, and data lineage tracking.

Support identification of master and reference data sources and contribute to metadata documentation.

Ensure alignment of data and reporting requirements with regulatory, compliance, and operational reporting standards.

Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and impact assessments to senior stakeholders.

Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for IT enhancements and system changes affecting IT and digital applications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst within the financial services industry.

Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent analytical thinking with a structured and detail-oriented approach.

Familiarity with banking operations, business processes, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data privacy principles.

Strong knowledge of customer journey mapping, process optimisation, and value delivery.
