OverviewWe are seeking an experiencedBusiness Analystwith strong capabilities in business and process analysis, particularly within theInsurancedomain. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience inProcess Reengineering/Automationas well asNew Business (NB) / Underwriting (UW). The role requires strong skills in defining processes, gathering requirements, and documenting user stories, supported by a solidtechno-functional background.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and document current business processes; identify gaps, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.
- Lead process re-engineering initiatives to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer/agent journeys.
- Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, validate, and document business requirements and user stories.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented correctly.
- Support solution design, testing, and implementation for insurance-related systems and enhancements.
- Facilitate workshops, process walkthroughs, and requirement clarification sessions.
- Manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive improvements across New Business (NB), Underwriting (UW), and related insurance operations.
- Support UAT planning, execution, defect management, and user training activities.
Required Skills & Experience- 710 yearsexperience as a Business Analyst / Process Analyst.
- Strong knowledge ofInsurancedomain, with hands-on experience in:
- Process Re-engineering / Automation
- New Business (NB)andUnderwriting (UW)
- Proven experience in mapping, analyzing, and optimizing business processes.
- Expertise in writing clear and detaileduser stories, requirements documents, and functional specs.
- Solidtechno-functional background, comfortable bridging business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and critical thinking skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have- Experience with business automation tools (e.g., RPA, workflow automation platforms).
- Exposure to digital transformation or insurance system modernization projects.
- Certifications such as CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile Product Owner.
