Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate / Manager to spearhead client acquisition efforts for our recruitment agency. This role is pivotal in expanding our client base across key industries, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through consultative selling and market intelligence.

Role Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Building

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted sectors (e.g., FMCG, tech, finance).
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn engagement, and networking events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers (HR, Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers).

Market Mapping & Lead Generation

  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential companies and hiring trends.
  • Maintain a structured pipeline of prospects using CRM tools.
  • Benchmark competitors and refine value propositions to differentiate our services.

Consultative Selling & Pitching

  • Understand client hiring needs and position tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and service agreements.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals with professionalism and strategic insight.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work closely with recruitment consultants to align business development with delivery capabilities.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, client expectations, and service gaps.
  • Contribute to quarterly sales planning and performance reviews.

Requirements

  • 25 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles (preferably in recruitment or B2B services).
  • Proven track record in lead generation and closing deals.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hunter mindset and resilience.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
