Job Purpose
The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving the growth of the Group Insurance business by developing and managing relationships with intermediaries and corporate clients. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities, supporting renewal retention and delivering competitive employee benefits solutions
Job Responsibilities
- You will develop, procure and service the in-house corporate client businesses in achieving financial budget set by the department.
- You will participate in the preparation of sales plans and campaigns, business plans and customer development plans and conduct sales presentations.
- You are responsible for the execution of operational plans and relevant tasks.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
- You must communicate to clients closely to understand the customer's requirements and actively promote company's products and services to fulfill these requirements for new and renewal accounts.
Job Requirements
- You must possess at least a bachelor's degree in business studies or its equivalent.
- You must have at least 5 6 years of working experience in Sales & Marketing and Servicing the Group Insurance business either in the life insurance / family takaful segment.
- Having strong knowledge in group insurance / takaful products would be advantageous.
- You must possess strong business acumen, strong communication & problem-solving skills to enable further success in this role.
