Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Kuala Lumpur. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and drive lead generation activities across target sectors. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with partners and customers, conducting presentations and product briefings, and coordinating with internal teams to develop proposals and quotations. The individual will track market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and support account management to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Regular meetings, reporting, and collaboration with the sales and technical teams are integral to this position.

Qualifications

  • Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with the ability to build and manage a qualified pipeline.
  • Solid business and account management capabilities, including relationship building and opportunity tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in presentations and client-facing interactions.
  • Experience in IT, networking, cybersecurity, or cloud solutions sales is highly beneficial.
  • Proven ability to work toward sales targets, analyze market opportunities, and prioritize high-impact activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or other regional languages is an advantage.
