Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities
- Prepare and present business proposals, sales presentations, and quotations
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with clients
- Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and internal support teams to ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Monitor sales performance, prepare sales forecasts, and submit regular reports
- Participate in marketing activities, networking events, and industry engagements
- Ensure timely follow-up on leads and effective after-sales support
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 35 years of working experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or related industries
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer acquisition, and account management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written)
- Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is an added advantage
- Willing to travel when required
