The Business Development Executive is responsible for supporting the BD Manager in driving business growth, generating qualified leads, and managing client engagement activities for both GreenBOS and SquareCloud.
This role plays a critical part in the pre-sales and post-sales process by conducting research, executing outreach activities, preparing sales materials, and assisting in client onboarding. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a professional presence suitable for frequent interactions with corporate clients, property developers, and sustainability partners.
The Business Development Executive ensures smooth coordination between clients, internal teams, and the BD Manager to help accelerate business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research and identify potential client lists
Assist BD Manager in overall job scope
Close deals that BD Manager opens
Perform cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls)
Schedule meetings and prepare basic pitch materials

Job Description:
1. Lead Generation & Market Research
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry opportunities, and competitive trends.
- Build and maintain prospect lists for BD Manager outreach and pipeline development.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and emerging sustainability demands to support strategic planning.
2. Sales Outreach & Client Engagement
- Execute cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to generate qualified leads.
- Schedule client meetings, demos, and presentations for the BD Manager and technical team.
- Support the BD Manager in all stages of client engagement, ensuring professional and timely communication.
- Follow up with clients and nurture leads to maintain active engagement throughout the sales cycle.
3. Pre-Sales Support
- Prepare pitch materials, slide decks, basic proposals, and marketing documents for client discussions.
- Assist in drafting proposals, quotations, tender submissions, and relevant documentation.
- Maintain accurate data in the CRM system, ensuring pipeline status and client interactions are always updated.
- Coordinate with the BD IT Specialist and Marketing team to ensure consistency in presentations and materials.
4. Sales Conversion & Account Management
- Support the BD Manager in closing deals by preparing required documentation and assisting in final negotiations.
- Manage client accounts to ensure smooth communication, timely responses, and ongoing relationship-building.
- Provide continuous support to maintain client satisfaction and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
5. Post-Sales Coordination & Onboarding
- Assist in client onboarding by coordinating documentation, data collection, and communication between clients and internal teams.
- Attend site visits to gather client information, verify operational details, and support implementation teams.
- Ensure clients receive clear communication throughout onboarding and transition into product usage.
6. Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the BD Manager, BD IT Specialist, and Marketing team to ensure alignment in messaging, client handling, and sales strategies.
- Support cross-functional teams by providing customer insights, market feedback, and competitor intelligence.
- Assist in internal reporting, KPI tracking, and preparation of sales performance summaries.
