Job Description

Acclime Malaysia is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to drive business growth and strengthen our presence in the Malaysian market. You will work closely with local and foreign-owned businesses, helping them navigate their corporate governance, company secretarial, payroll, accounting, tax, and compliance requirements. This role offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and contribute directly to the company's growth strategy while working alongside experienced professionals across multiple service lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across various industries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, business owners, and stakeholders
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities across Acclime's service offerings
  • Lead client engagements, commercial discussions, proposal presentations, and contract negotiations
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with service line leaders to develop tailored client solutions
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and business development reports

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, Client Acquisition, or Account Management
  • Proven track record in achieving revenue targets and developing new business opportunities
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience within professional services, corporate services, consulting, outsourcing, legal, banking, or related B2B industries is highly advantageous
