Senior/Manager, Business Development (Solar C&I)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive sales growth across Commercial, Industrial, and Utility solar projects.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to strengthen brand presence and market penetration in the solar sector.
- Manage and grow the sales and marketing teams, setting targets, monitoring KPIs, and driving performance.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, including corporate PPAs, government tenders, and solar farm projects.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with developers, EPC contractors, and financial institutions.
- Oversee pricing strategies, sales pipeline management, and contract negotiations.
- Work closely with technical, operations, and finance teams to ensure commercial viability and project profitability.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments (NEM, FIT, SEDA), and competitor activity.
- Present sales forecasts, ROI analysis, and market expansion plans to management.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development, project development, or commercial roles within solar or renewable energy, preferably C&I-focused.
- Strong capability in financial modeling and commercial evaluation of energy projects.
- Excellent B2B sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Able to work cross-functionally with engineering, legal, finance, and project teams.
- Self-driven, commercially minded, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) or a related technical field.
