To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced and self-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) based in Malaysia. This role will lead CECA's market development in the region by building a strong network of sub-agents, promoting overseas education opportunities, and increasing enrolments into top institutions globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a business development plan for the Indonesia market
- Build partnerships with local education agents, language schools, and sub-agents
- Promote study abroad programs in destinations including Australia, Canada, the UK, and the USA, with a primary focus on Australia
- Manage and support sub-agents to ensure high-quality counselling, compliance, and enrolment performance
- Organize and represent CECA at local education fairs, seminars, and student events
- Stay updated on Malaysia student mobility trends, education needs, and visa-related developments
- Work with CECA's internal teams to streamline student applications and provide marketing and operational support
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 23 years of experience in student recruitment, international education, or agency business development
- Strong network in the Malaysia education sector, including sub-agents and schools
- Fluent in Malaysia and English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of Australian education and migration systems is a strong advantage
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver results
- Familiar with digital tools, CRM systems, and remote collaboration
