About the Role
The Sales Manager / BDM (APAC) will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and closing new opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify and close new business opportunities with central banks and major financial institutions
- Maintain and expand long-term relationships with existing clients
- Act as a trusted partner to clients, supporting them through implementation and beyond
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, advising senior management on strategy
- Lead RFP processes, prepare proposals and presentations
- Represent CMA at key events and industry forums in APAC
- Drive partnerships and alliances with regional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Experience in sales or business development in banking, fintech, government, or related industries
- Proven sales track record with measurable results in winning new clients or expanding business with existing accounts
- Hands-on experience in building relationships with decision-makers at financial institutions or public-sector clients
- Understanding of sales processes in enterprise or public procurement environments
- Comfortable working with long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (required)
- Willingness to travel across the Southeast Asian region as needed
