Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur, for a Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and develop strategic business growth plans. Responsibilities include leading sales initiatives, negotiating and closing deals, analyzing market trends, and fostering collaboration across teams to meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dealer Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Identify, approach, and recruit potential dealers to expand Freshtel's network.
- Conduct onboarding training for new dealers to ensure they are equipped with product knowledge, sales tools, and processes.
2. Dealer Relationship & Performance Management:
- Understand existing dealers business models and challenges to build effective partnerships.
- Develop and execute plans to improve dealer sales performance and market penetration.
- Ensure assigned dealers meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets.
3. Sales Accountability:
- Deliver sales targets through the dealer channel, with full accountability for dealer recruitment, new activations, and overall channel contribution.
- Monitor and report on channel performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
4. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for the assigned portfolio to drive growth in broader markets.
- Formulate retention strategies to minimize churn within the dealer network.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Utilize basic data analysis skills to evaluate channel and portfolio performance.
- Track post-sales activities and ensure timely delivery of support to dealers.
6. Account Growth & Coverage:
- Grow account depth and breadth to ensure comprehensive market coverage.
- Expand dealer reach and effectiveness in alignment with company goals.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, IT, and Infrastructure teams to launch and optimize campaigns, products, and operational processes.
- Support the rollout of new initiatives and ensure seamless execution within the dealer network.
