Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead business development initiatives and manage client relationships within Malaysia's FSI,Telecom,Public and Enterprise sectors. This role focuses on promoting IT software services and system integration solutions, requiring a deep understanding of both technical offerings and clients needs. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by leveraging their IT sales expertise and established connections within FSI,Telecom,Public and Enterprise sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate Malaysia's FSI,Telecom,Public and Enterprise sectors.
- Promote our IT software services and system integration solutions, clearly articulating their value proposition to address clients operational and digital transformation needs.
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, industry networking, and proactive outreach to key decision-makers.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring high levels of satisfaction through effective account management.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design tailored solutions that align with client requirements, preparing detailed proposals and delivering persuasive presentations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to maximize revenue while ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, maintain accurate sales pipelines, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Stay abreast of trends in financial technology, IT software services, system integration practices, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience in the IT industry, with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong familiarity with IT software services and system integration business, including relevant technologies, implementation processes, and service delivery models.
- Demonstrated experience in client acquisition and relationship management within FSI,Telecom,Public and Enterprise sectors.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous for engaging with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business benefits for clients.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong networking skills and existing connections within Singapore's financial sector are preferred.
