About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our expanding APAC team, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role is pivotal in nurturing relationships with our key Introducing Broker (IB) clients and strategically expanding our client base within the region.

While not a direct sales role, the successful candidate will be adept at building trust, providing exceptional service, identifying opportunities, and fostering long-term partnerships to drive significant growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management & Service Excellence:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing Introducing Broker (IB) clients.
  • Act as a primary point of contact, building trust and providing exceptional service across all communication channels.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, effectively addressing and resolving any issues.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of our platform's strengths to offer tailored solutions and address client needs.
  • Identify challenges faced by clients and proactively report these to senior management for potential platform improvements.

2. Client Acquisition & Business Growth (Indirect Sales Focus):

  • Strategically outreach and build relationships with new potential Introducing Broker (IB) clients and KOL influencers to expand our client base within the assigned APAC region.
  • Comfortably make a high volume of outbound calls, texts, Social Media and engage effectively with diverse potential partners.
  • Leverage strong communication skills (or a strong desire to develop them) to build rapport and present our value proposition.

3. Strategic Partnerships & Reporting:

  • Identify, develop, and drive strategic partnerships to achieve explosive growth within your responsible region.
  • Regularly report to senior management on business performance, highlighting strengths, identifying areas for improvement, and providing market insights.

Requirements:

  • Location: Must be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience within the Forex (FX) industry is essential.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be a bilingual speaker fluent in English and one of the following languages: Japanese
  • Previous exposure to customer-focused environments (customer support, sales, outbound/inbound support, consulting, or similar) is highly advantageous.
  • Strong motivation to learn practical financial knowledge and professional skills within the Forex market.
  • A proactive and highly motivated individual with a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Sales and marketing acumen is a plus and will be considered favorably.
