Job Description

  • Lead the achievement of international sales targets and drive business expansion across assigned export markets through strategic planning and effective field execution.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, distribution channels, and market entry strategies to accelerate growth.
  • Spearhead new product development initiatives for international markets, including gathering customer insights, aligning with market needs, and coordinating cross-functional execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to ensure long-term business sustainability and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Regulatory, etc.) to ensure seamless order fulfilment, efficient export operations, and compliance with international trade regulations and customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement pricing and commercial strategies to achieve optimal margins and competitive positioning.
  • Lead negotiations on commercial terms and contractual agreements, and work with the Legal team on distributor agreements and compliance matters.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics across the value chain to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to enhance capability, performance, and succession readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in managerial roles in international sales, marketing, or revenue management within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in a competitive industry.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing sales strategies across various channels.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of the FMCG industry, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making with advanced proficiency in CRM, sales forecasting, and analytics tools.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Results-oriented, with a strong ability to drive performance across teams.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for innovation and staying ahead of market trends.
