Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Spot and develop new business opportunities, and evaluate their viability.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Understand the needs of clients and deliver tailored solutions; respond to queries and handle RFPs (Requests for Proposals).
  • Work together with Business Development and Product Solution leadership teams to secure, maintain, and expand accounts.
  • Present and communicate product information to prospects during meetings, exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Build and keep updated a prospect database using CRM software and Excel.
  • Make outbound calls to potential clients (cold calling), convert leads into sales, and guide clients through the closing process.
  • Meet quota targets for cold calls, active/inactive calls, appointments, and annual sales goals.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and maintain all sales-related administrative functions using CRM software.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Business Development management to set sales goals, plan strategies, and forecast; keep both short- and long-term business development plans current.

Requirements

  • Experience in lead generation and managing prospects.
  • Energetic, outgoing personality with a friendly demeanor.
  • Persuasive, goal-driven attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to call and engage potential clients effectively.
  • Minimum two years of experience in business development or a related sales role; familiarity with the full sales cycle from initiation to closing.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, result-oriented, and strong in building customer relationships.
  • Academic credential: STPM, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent.
