Job Purpose
To drive business growth by identifying and acquiring new clients, developing strategic sales opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and converting brand strategies into effective trade initiatives across online and offline channels to achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and acquire new clients, generate new prospects, and identify new products, services, and business opportunities for improving business growth.
- Drive business growth & achieve revenue targets set by the company
2. Sales Strategy & Proposal Management
- Responsible for formulating business strategies, preparation, presentation, negotiation, and following up on business proposals.
- Research new market opportunities. Generate leads, set up appointments and prepare the business proposal.
- Meet with the business objective and ensure the development of qualified inquiries
4. Partner & Platform Relationship Management
- Cultivate strong relationships with company business partners and platforms to ensure effective and efficient business operations.
- Strengthen strategic alliances to support business growth.
5. Product Knowledge & Promotion Strategy
- Maintain a strong understanding of company products and develop innovative concepts and strategies to promote products to potential prospects.
- Translate brand strategy into trade strategy to strengthen brand appearance at the trade for both online & offline channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field / Equivalent
- Good verbal and written communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (added advantage) to communicate with partners, clients and customers.
- Must be willing to travel and possess own transport for work-related activities.
- Ability to manage, inspire and lead cross-functional peers / team and effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors.
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgments, and priorities workloads as well as capacity for teamwork in a pressured and fast-moving, busy environment with multiple projects running at the same time.
- Able to work independently, positive mindset and manage stress well.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills with excellent presentation skill.
- Solution focus, a positive mindset, results-oriented, creative, fast learner, and team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of business development, sales strategies, and client acquisition processes
- Understanding of market research, prospecting, and lead generation techniques
- Ability to prepare, present, and negotiate business proposals effectively
