Job Description

1. Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute plans to drive revenue growth for all company products.
  • Establish and control budgets for sales promotions and trade expenses.
  • Negotiate yearly trading terms with customers.
  • Minimize returns through optimal product mix and forecast allocation.
  • Forecast sales and gather insights on market trends to improve performance.
  • Curate value-based selling offerings to enhance key accounts sales effectiveness and long-term relationships.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Visit customers/retailers regularly to understand their needs, resolve issues, and build strong relationships.
  • Expand relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Serve as the communication link between key customers/retailers and internal teams.
  • Resolve issues and complaints to maintain trust and align with business objectives.

3. Merchandising & Promotion

  • Ensure optimal display locations and adherence to planograms.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute promotions and generate high sales volume.
  • Prepare and implement strong selling stories based on inputs from Marketing, Category Marketing, and Key Account teams.
  • Monitor and report on promotional effectiveness and sales performance.
  • Support merchandising efforts by identifying display locations and collaborating with product specialists.

4. Other Tasks

  • Ensure timely and accurate customer payments
  • Ensure collections and aging are up to date for assigned accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ bachelor's degree in marketing/ business/ supply chain or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mandarin
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Key Account Management within the FMCG industry.
  • A hands-on, proactive, independent, responsible, high integrity, detail and result-oriented person.
  • Good task management and cross functional team coordination skills (a team player)
  • Excellent communications skills, collaborate easily with others, and adapt agilely.
  • Possess own transport.
