Job Overview:
Responsible to manage the end-to-end supply chain by sourcing quality vendors, negotiating cost-effective contracts, and analyzing data to ensure the right inventory is always available to meet business goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the procurement of designated materials and services, as well as delivery schedule management, to ensure operational requirements are supported.
- Coordinate supplier selection/qualification review processes, price negotiations, supplier audits, and communication between suppliers and internal requestors.
- Manage existing suppliers (including price, quality, delivery, and service) and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct price benchmarking within ASE and across the industry to identify opportunities for reducing purchasing and inventory costs.
- Ensure suppliers comply with appropriate standards such as ISO, TS, GP, and other certifications.
- Handle purchase requisition requests and issue purchase orders or contracts to suppliers.
- Identify and manage the disposal of obsolete materials.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments such as production, engineering and other departments.
- Complete other assigned tasks.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of procurement/purchasing experience is preferred.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP software.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
