About the Role
Involves in sourcing & purchasing of materials and equipment, tools and consumables required for maintenance repair and operations of the company.
Responsibilities
- Involves in sourcing & purchasing of materials and equipment, tools and consumables required for maintenance repair and operations of the company.
- Managing the Sale of Scrap materials including identifying potential buyers, negotiating sales agreement, manage logistic arrangements and maximizing the scrap value to generate revenue for the factory.
- Daily tasks include identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier business relationships, ensuring on time delivery, and optimizing inventory and purchases to minimize cost while maintaining operation efficiency.
- Also requires tracking factory spends on commodity related items, analyze market trends and implementing cost-saving strategies.
- Willing to station/travel to both plant for support as and when required.
- Preferrable candidate who can speak in Mandarin to handle for China customer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above in equivalent field
- Excellent oral and written skills in English.
- 0-5 year(s) of working experience in the Purchasing/Shared Services Center Management is preferred for this position.
