Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on oleochemical plant process specialist to manage daily plant operations, ensure safe and efficient batch processing, and coordinate effectively with the Malaysia office. Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred to support operational reporting and liaison.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate batch processes according to SOPs and production parameters
- Perform equipment line-up and safely operate reactors and process systems
- Handle manual charging of raw materials and chemicals
- Carry out drumming and product handling activities
- Monitor process conditions and report deviations or safety risks
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and maintain safe work environment
- Support clear shift handover and team communication
- Act as liaison with Malaysia office for operational updates
- Participate in Emergency Response Team (CERT) activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, International Trade, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in oleochemical or manufacturing plant operations
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken & written) is highly preferred
- Familiar with SOP-driven production environment and chemical handling (SHEQ)
- Able to work rotational shifts and perform physical operational tasks
Preferred / Advantage:
- Experience in oleochemical / palm-based processing
- Basic troubleshooting skills (valves, pumps, flow issues)
- Experience in Emergency Response Team (ERT/CERT)
