ABOUT THE ROLE
Sains Medika is the exclusive channel partner for EDAN in Malaysia, representing a comprehensive portfolio of medical imaging and diagnostic equipment.
In this role, you will be the product expert on the ground, supporting the sales team through product demonstrations, customer training, post-sale application support, and after sales service across our range of patient monitoring and diagnostic equipment including ECG machines, patient monitors, fetal monitors, and related devices.
We welcome candidates who are new to the field but possess the right attitude and eagerness to grow. Comprehensive product and application training will be provided by the company to set you up for success. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel within Malaysia.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clinical and technical support to the sales team during the sales process through product demonstrations and hands-on equipment sessions at hospitals, clinics, and workshops.
- Work closely with the sales team to build customer confidence, address clinical queries, and contribute directly to achieving sales objectives.
- Deliver post-sale product training and application support to customers, ensuring optimal equipment utilisation and satisfaction.
- Provide after sales service and follow-up support to existing customers, addressing operational issues and maintaining strong long-term customer relationships.
- Develop strong knowledge across multiple product ranges and clearly articulate the technical and clinical differentiating factors between devices to customers and the sales team.
- Stays abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure our product's competitive position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Medical Science, Biotechnology, or equivalent
- Prior experience in a clinical, hospital, or medical device environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Candidates with no direct experience but a strong interest in the medical device field and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Other Requirements:
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to clinical audiences.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to develop expertise in medical device technology.
- Customer-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Must possess own transport and be willing to travel extensively within Malaysia, potentially up to 2 weeks per month (non-consecutive).
