Primary Responsibilities
Supporting the Principal Consultant and Senior Account Holder in delivering comprehensive solutions to family office clients. As the junior account holder of the client relationship, responsible to assist onboarding, structuring, family governance planning, implementation and tax-related coordination.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Blueprint & Scope of Services & Fees: Doing research and fact finding interview(s) to prepare Blueprints, and Scope of Services & Fees (SSF) presentations tailored to prospect's profiles.
- Client Onboarding & Due Diligence: Responsible for preparing KYC documentation, letters of engagement with milestones, interview worksheets, and onboarding forms, while guiding clients through the full onboarding process, including compliance setup and collection of required documentation.
- Structural Planning & Net Worth Analysis: Compilation of the net worth analysis based on client's information and needs to formulate the Structural Planning.
- Family Governance & Succession Planning: Conduct interviews and gather stakeholders feedback to formulate and finalize the Family Governance presentation, support and review the Family Constitution and other legal documents (Deed of Family Arrangements, Deed of Adherence, Durable Power of Attorney, Will, shareholder succession term sheet) drafting, including preparing asset listing and equalization spreadsheets.
- Client Meeting Coordination: Schedule client meetings, prepare and present materials, take minutes, facilitate discussions, and follow up post-meeting with minutes, documentation and updates.
- Implementation & Legal Liaison: Engage stakeholders including LAC, tax advisors, trust / company secretary; review and comment on legal drafts; collect implementation documents; assist sign-off and handover documents.
- Compliance & Regulatory Reporting: Support Foundation compliance reports, assist Form E and audit follow-ups, coordinate with Corporate Services for client reporting requirements.
- Advisory Add-On Services: Coordinate Family Council, Performance Management Office, or Investment Committee sessions; and coordinate the delivery of add-on services like succession and/or nominee planning, and ongoing FO Management and Coaching service and capital statement preparation.
- Administrative & Documentation Support: Maintain templates and logs, update checklists, prepare meeting decks, assist with standardization and SOP improvements, handle documentation upkeep.
- Client Billing & Payment Follow-Up: Initiate invoices and follow up with clients for payments; manage debtor aging and reminders.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinate between Corporate Services, audit/tax teams, internal departments and external stakeholders for service delivery and information sharing from/to the client.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Investment, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant working experience preferred
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and well-organized
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Able to work closely with senior consultants and multiple stakeholders
- Mandarin proficiency is required as the role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
