Content Marketing Executive (Performance & AI-driven)

This role reports to the Content Strategist Lead and focuses on performance-driven content that directly impacts traffic, CTR, conversion, and GMV.

This is not a basic writing role. You are expected to understand how content performs across SEO, AEO, and AIO (core requirements), and apply this to real content execution. Exposure to GEO and SXO is a plus.

You will work heavily with AI-assisted workflows, so the ability to refine, optimise, and elevate AI-generated content into high-quality, conversion-focused output is critical.

You are not expected to know everything from day one, but you must be willing to learn quickly, adapt, and apply feedback in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Job Scope

  • 60% create new long-form articles and optimise existing website content
  • 30% review, revise, and coordinate freelancer-produced articles
  • 10% review content performance using Google Search Console and GA4

Job Responsibilities

Content Creation and Optimisation

  • Create and optimise long-form website articles such as guides, evergreen pages, and commercial-focused content
  • Align content with search intent, keyword strategy, and ranking potential
  • Structure content for SEO (ranking and discoverability), AEO (clear answers and readiness), and SXO (user decision making and conversion flow)
  • Improve content performance through strong titles and hooks to increase CTR, better readability and engagement, and clear conversion-focused messaging

AI Assisted Content Workflow

  • Use ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini for research, outlining, and drafting
  • Refine AI outputs into high-quality, structured, and human content
  • Improve weak AI output, fix structure, intent, and commercial gaps
  • Use AI to increase efficiency without compromising quality

Product & Commercial Thinking

  • Extract USP, benefits, and target users from product pages
  • Translate featured into user value and booking motivation
  • Integrate products naturally into content to drive conversion

SEO, AEO, AIO Execution

  • Apply SEO fundamentals: keyword mapping, metadata, and internal linking
  • Optimise content for ranking, answer visibility, and AI search readiness
  • Understand basic SERP behaviour and competition
  • Support keyword research using Ahrefs, Semrush, and Google Trends

Wordpress Execution

  • Publish and manage content in WordPress, handling URL slug, tags, categories, on-page SEO setup
  • Maintain clean, structured, and mobile-friendly pages

Data and Performance Review

  • Review basic content performance metrics in Google Search Console and GA4
  • Identify simple optimisation opportunities with guidance
  • Learn to use data to support content decisions and prioritisation, improving content using data-driven insights

Freelancer Collaboration

  • Communicate with freelance writers and contributors on briefs and revisions
  • Review freelancer articles for quality, clarity, and basic SEO alignment
  • Provide clear revision feedback under guidance from the Content Strategist Lead
  • Help ensure content guidelines and timelines are followed

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in content marketing or a similar role
  • Strong writing skills, clear, structured, and conversion-focused
  • Hands-on WordPress experience
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Jasper AI, Gemini, Claude or similar
  • Basic understanding of SEO, AEO, AIO, and content performance
  • Ability to extract USP from product pages and translate into value
  • Comfortable following structured guidelines and receiving feedback
  • Able to work with freelancers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong willingness to learn, adapt quickly, and apply feedback
  • Resume and portfolio with writing or multimedia samples required

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AIO, GEO and SXO
  • Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or Semrush
  • Experience in travel, ecommerce, or marketplace platforms (advantage)
