Assist in pre and post contract management such as preparation of tender documents, tender analysis, bill of quantities, procurement and award of contract works, negotiation and contract administration
Coordinating and liaising with consultants throughout tendering process and managing contract claims
Assist in cost control, procurement award, evaluation of progress claims and variation works, tender report, etc.
Assist in negotiating and rationalizing contract rates with contractors to achieve favorable terms and conditions that align with company's interest and objectives
Assist in value engineering to achieve optimum cost in compliance with the required quality
Attend site meetings, consultant meetings, carry out site valuation, etc
Provide input during project planning and design phases to ensure cost-effective and feasible project execution
Work collaboratively with various departments including Finance and Project Management to ensure smooth operations.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management
Minimum 3 years working experience in property and construction industry, consultancy firms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with good spreadsheet and report writing skills
Proactive, dynamic, analytical, and resourceful with strong integrity and ability to work in a team environment
