  • Drive profitability improvements through detailed analysis of business performance, cost structures, and operational efficiency
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering commercial and financial perspectives on key initiatives

2) Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles, ensuring alignment with business strategy
  • Deliver high-quality financial analysis, highlighting risks, opportunities, and actionable insights
  • Strengthen forecasting accuracy across revenue, costs, capital expenditure, and working capital

3) Performance Management & Controls

  • Oversee credit management and collections to ensure strong cash flow and adherence to policies

4) Governance, Compliance & Reporting

  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate governance frameworks (e.g., SOX, internal policies, and regulatory requirements)
  • Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit requirements within Malaysia

5) Operational & Project Support

  • Provide financial oversight on project accounting, ensuring proper revenue and cost recognition
  • Support business initiatives and regional projects as required
  • Drive continuous improvement in finance systems, tools, and processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading finance in a commercial or operational environment
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights
  • Hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, and controllership
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and leveraging them to improve efficiency
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving business needs
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across functions
