About the Role
We are looking for a Japanese-speaking Customer Support Representative to join our onsite team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves handling customer inquiries, providing accurate information, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and/or phone in Japanese and English.
- Assist customers with product/service-related questions, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Ensure a positive customer experience by providing timely and accurate support.
- Escalate complex issues to internal teams when required.
- Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions.
- Achieve performance targets related to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance support processes.
Requirements
- Native or fluent proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1/N2 preferred).
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Previous customer service or support experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Kuala Lumpur.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in BPO/Contact Center environments.
- Familiarity with CRM or helpdesk tools.
