Key Responsibilities
- Demand Forecasting:
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast future demand.
- Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to gather input for demand planning.
- Adjust forecasts based on market conditions and promotional activities.
Replenishment Planning
- Determine optimal order quantities and reorder points.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues affecting inventory availability.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock analysis.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and recommend actions.
- Analyze and report on inventory performance metrics such as turnover rates, fill rates, and stock accuracy.
- Identify and implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to align inventory levels with operational needs.
- Participate in new product launch planning and inventory setup.
- Communicate inventory status and potential issues to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Sciences, or related field.
- Fresh graduates welcome, or 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel).
- Highly interested in numbers, analysis, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
