We're looking for a data-driven Data Analyst who can turn raw data into a strategic asset. In this role, you will be the voice of the learner/attendee and the guardian of program effectiveness, delivering insights that directly influence strategy and decision-making.
You'll work across data from our Learning Management System (LMS), virtual event platforms, and marketing channels to uncover trends, measure ROI, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Collection & Management
- Identify, extract, and consolidate data from multiple sources, including LMS platforms (e.g. Cornerstone, Docebo), virtual event tools (e.g. Zoom), and marketing systems.
- Develop and maintain clean, reliable datasets and dashboards for ongoing reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and hygiene by implementing best practices for data validation.
2. Analysis & Insight Generation
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on training effectiveness, learner engagement, and virtual event performance.
- Perform root-cause analysis to identify drivers behind key metrics such as low completion rates or event drop-off points.
- Segment audiences by role, region, and behaviour to support personalised learning paths and event experiences.
- Analyse correlations between training completion and business outcomes (e.g. performance, retention, sales).
3. Reporting & Data Visualisation
- Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI.
- Create clear, compelling data visualisations that translate complex insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Deliver standardised post-event and post-training reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
4. Strategic Partnership & Consultation
- Partner closely with Program Managers, Creative teams, Designers, and Event teams to define success metrics and data-informed goals.
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and hypotheses.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership to influence strategy and resource allocation.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Proactively monitor program performance to flag anomalies, risks, or opportunities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training formats, event modalities, and promotional strategies through A/B testing and cohort analysis.
- Stay up to date with industry trends in L&D analytics and virtual event measurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 years of relevant working experience, with 23 years in a Data Analyst role and a proven portfolio of projects.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Advanced skills in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Proven experience working with large datasets, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights to non-technical audiences.
- Curious, proactive, and driven to uncover the why behind the numbers.
