HIRING: DATA CENTER OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN
Location – JOHOR, MALAYSIA
We are looking for an experienced Data Center Operations Technician to support day-to-day data center operations, server and network equipment maintenance, hardware replacement, troubleshooting, asset management, structured cabling, and facility coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Server mounting, handover checks, maintenance, and equipment patrols
- Server hardware troubleshooting and component replacement
- Failure diagnostics, log collection, and vendor escalation
- OS-level troubleshooting and post-repair configuration
- Network device deployment, maintenance, and failure handling
- Coordination with carriers, IDC providers, and vendors
- Production, spare, and project inventory management
- Storeroom, cabinet, and server documentation management
- Rack power ON/OFF coordination with facility teams
- Data center facility checks, patrols, and incident support
- Structured cabling validation, labeling, and asset tagging
- VM creation/modification, IP provisioning, and network configuration
- Onsite technical support and third-party supplier coordination
- Ticket handling, reporting, documentation, and archiving
Requirements
- Diploma in Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Center Operations
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, network equipment, and facility operations
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Fast learner with willingness to learn new technologies
- Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
