Job Summary

ExperiencedData Engineerwith strong proficiency inSQL,Amazon Web Services (AWS)to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data infrastructure. Responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable movement, transformation, and storage of data to support business intelligence, analytics, and data science teams.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL and AWS services (e.g., Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda, EMR).
• Build and optimize data models and data warehouses for analytics and reporting.
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT workflows to ingest and transform structured and semi-structured data.
• Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and monitoring tools to ensure data integrity.
• Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Optimize query performance and troubleshoot slow-running SQL processes or data jobs.
• Automate data workflows and ensure CI/CD best practices for data deployments.
• Maintain documentation of data pipelines, schemas, and architecture.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Product / software development
• Experience process and delivery ownership.
• Hands on working experience on Data Strong knowledge of data platforms, data pipelines, data related development including platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Jupyter, cloud native services
• Hands on experience on cloud services and knowledge of data related cloud native services (AWS).
• Experience in AWS EMR (Managed Cluster Platform)
• Experience in RDS, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, and Postgres.
• Experience in tools and programming languages required to implement data pipelines: SQL, Python / Pandas
